About this Herbal:
Between work, life or school, we all need to carve out a little time for self-care. Which is why we love Tulsi Rama. Named after the seventh incarnation of the Hindu god Vishnu, Rama, this ancient herb is said to embody the teachings he offers. That is: all beings must live life to the fullest and the three goals of life must be in balance. These are: Dharma (virtue), Kama, Desires and Artha, (purpose).
Balance, of course, is where the concept of self-care comes in. For millennia, practitioners of Ayurveda, a traditional system of medicine originating in India, have prescribed this basil-like herb to treat all manners of ailments and afflictions that can arise through the course of our busy lives - from easing colds and coughs to reducing cholesterol and treating some stress related disorders. By managing stress, the body can bring Rama's three goals neatly into balance, something we like the sounds of. Here's to Rama, and here's to organic Tulsi Rama. Namaste.
