Oolong - Loose Leaf

Oolong leaves are processed right after they are plucked. The harvested tea leaves are first laid out in the sun to dry and then placed into baskets and shaken, which “bruises” the leaves. The leaves are then spread out again under the sun to begin a partial oxidation process, however the process is halted after two hours or so the leaves may be fired in hot woks. Ultimately, an Oolong will have crisp, dry leaves and a rich dark color.

All orders for loose leaf teas include 12 - #2 Tea Brew paper filters at no charge and complimentary samples of teas. We offer all of our loose leaf teas in 10 gram sampler, 50 and 100 gram amounts as well as optional Metal Tins.
