Dried Chile Puya - 85 grams

Regular price $5.99

Dried Chile Puya  is Guajillo’s evil sister, smaller but hotter. It is popular in Mexican cooking and its origin dates back to early Central America. It is often used more for its fruity flavor, rather than its flesh, which means it is great pureed, mashed or diced, and then made into a sauce.

Rinse this product with warm water first. To rehydrate, let soak in hot water for 10 minutes. Next, add to any recipe where the product will cook a minimum of 10 minutes. You may also, after rehydration, dice or puree before adding to your recipe.
